Free improvisations of the Maurits Roes Trio lead to the world of Jazz but Eastern & Arabic colors and impressions are sources of inspiration for the trio.

Maurits Roes Trio performs in varying formations and regularly works. Currently he’s working with a new formed trio with Stefan Lievestro (Contrabass) & Thorsten Grau (Drums)

In 2007 the Maurits Roes Trio presented an album titled: Essential Elements, released under the OAP label.
